Tom has successfully completed more than $1.0 billion worth of construction projects, reflecting his project experience in residential, institutional, healthcare, and corporate sectors.
Prior to joining Catalyst Partners, Tom was a Chicago-based project executive, leading the development of the University of Chicago’s $155 million North Residential Commons. Tom’s additional experience includes the $600 million Columbia-St. Mary’s Healthcare expansion, and the $87 million Hub Medical Office Building at Medical College of Wisconsin.
With Catalyst Partners, Tom’s focus is concentrated on market rate and mixed-income multi-family projects. Current projects include downtown’s 25-story timber frame Ascent Residential Tower, a luxury multi-family project on Milwaukee’s North Shore, and multiple mixed -income housing projects throughout Wisconsin. The total value of his pre-development work exceeds $200 million.
Tom holds bachelor degrees from University of Wisconsin Madison (finance) and Clemson University (construction management) as well as a Masters in Design Studies – Real Estate from Harvard University. He is a lecturing faculty member at Milwaukee School of Engineering.
